Installation

You can install the theme in two ways: through WordPress, or via FTP. The Autocar.zip file is the Installable WordPress Theme and that is what you need to use to get the theme installed. Please see the following sections for each method.

1) Installation via FTP: Prefer upload the un-zipped theme folder

2) Installation via WordPress: Install and Activate

WordPress Installation

How To Install Auto Car WordPress Theme! via WordPress

Step 1 – Navigate to Appearance > Themes .

Step 2 – Click Add New and click the Upload button. Navigate to find the “ Autocar.zip ” file on your computer and click “Install Now”

NOTE: From 5th step onwards all the points are same for both installation method ie WP installation and FTP installation.

FTP Installation

How To Install Auto Car WordPress Theme ! via FTP

Step 1 – Log into your hosting space via an FTP software.

Step 2 – Unzip the Autocar.zip file and only use the extracted Autocar theme folder.

Step 3 – Upload the extracted Autocar theme folder into wp-content > themes folder.

Step 4 – Navigate to the wp-dashboard and then activate the newly installed theme by going to Appearance > Themes and clicking the Activate button.

Step 5 – Once successfully activate navigate to Install Plugin Button. When clicked you will get the list of the required pluigns

Step 6 – Below mentioned plugins are required plugins.

Plugins that will need to be installed and activated: WPBakery Page Builder, Autocar Core , Contact Form7, , Progression Car Dealer, Slider Revolution, WooCommerce Plugin, and LayerSlider WP, are required for the theme to work, it contains all of our theme features like shortcodes and shortcode generator.

1. WPBakery Page Builder – Drag and drop page builder for WordPress. Take full control over your WordPress site, build any layout you can imagine – no programming knowledge required.

2. Autocar core – Autocar core is a core plugin for the Auto Car WordPress Theme. This plugin create custom post type and some meta option.

Autocar Options

The Autocar WordPress theme options panel has been specially created to make your work faster and easier. These options are very easy to use and in a few minutes you can change a lot of things on the website.

Navigate to Dashboard >> Autocar Options

Global Setting

General settings consist of the settings related to the, favicon, website logo, theme sidebar and wocommerce position , footer copyright text, and many more setting.

Color Options

With this setting you can select the colour and enable/disable the color switcher dispaly option.

Map Settings

Using this setting you can enter the map API key.

Social Setting

With this setting you can set the social networking site URL and can customize which social icon wants to show on the Header.

Contact Settings

With this setting you can set up the Email Address and contact number that will appear on website.

404 Page Setting

With this setting you can customize the 404 page.

Demo Importer

This setting shows the demo templates available. Click on the Demo Import button and after that wait for sometime till it will imported successfully.

Import/Export

Import export option provides the settings to backup by exporting the theme options settings & importing the old settings from the file.

Add Products

Navigate to Dashboard >> Products >> Add New.

Widget

AutoCar WordPress Theme includes several custom widgets. All widgets are accessed in the Widgets section of the WordPress admin. Widgets can be added to any sidebar, footer column. There are various fields and settings present to choose for each individual widget all are self-explanatory. You can put as many widgets as you want inside of a sidebar or footer.

To Add Widgets, Follow The Steps Below

Navigate to Appearance > Widgets to access the list of widgets and widget sections that they can be added to. The left-hand side shows all the widgets you can use. The right-hand side shows all the different sections you can add widgets to.

Simply drag and drop the widget you want into the widget section you want on the right-hand side.

When finished, make sure to click Save in the widget editing box to save the widgets added to your sidebar.

Shortcodes

A specific code that lets you do difficult things with very little effort. Shortcodes can embed files or create objects that would normally require lots of complicated, ugly code in just one line.

Navigate to Pages >> Add New >> Click on the Add New Element.

With this shortcode you can add services to your website. The setting to add services come in the parent's settings of the service shortcode when you click on the box.

Using this shortcode you can show your clients on any section of the website.

Contact Map

This shortcodeis used to show map on the website.

Contact Information

This shortcode enables you to show contact information like email address, contact number along with the description.

Testimonial

With this shortcode, you can show the testimonial.

Autocar Accordion

With this shortcode, you can add a series of accordion.

The setting to add accordion tab come in the parent's settings of the Accordion shortcode when you click on the box.

Alert Box

This shortcode is used to show Alert or highlight the section.

Autocar Button

This shortcode is used to add the button to the website.

Autocar Featured Post

With this shortcode you can show either Featured Post or Recent Post. You have to create 'featured' category for displaying Featured post. And Recent post option will display recently added posts.

Autocar Notice Strip

With this shortcode you can add notices.

Team

This shortcode display the team members to your website.

Newsletter

This shortcode enables you to show the subscription letter on the website. You need to enter Mailchimp API key and list ID.

Autocar Gallery

Using this shortcode you can display gallery to the website in the selected format.

This shortcode is used to display the services entered in the Service section of the WP dashboard.

With this shortcode user can add the title and select the style in which want to show list. This shortcode comes with the child settings through which you can add the lists.
